My name is Dr. Cassandra Dagones, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M., and I’m so excited to meet you! I have been a Licensed Acupuncturist since 2015, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2025, and a massage therapist specializing in the relationship of the body’s structure to its function for over 15 years. I have additional training in ChiNeiTsang abdominal massage, a modality that enhances the deep connections between body, mind, and spirit.
Alegría means JOY, and my passion is helping my patients connect to the inherent JOY of bettering their health.
I am a wife, a mother of 2 sons, and a perpetual student working to continually deepen my knowledge in my favorite areas of study.
Along with my passion for acupuncture, bodywork, and the human body, I practice BaGuaZhang a Chinese Martial Art, I study Daoist Mysticism, and I am committed to exploring the world through mindfulness, guided by several different lineages. I am a certified barre3 instructor, and also enjoy connecting to my body and community by practicing yoga, lifting weights, and taking barre3 classes.
I nourish my soul by communing with nature, whether it be the redwoods and oceans of California where I live, or the beautiful desert of Southern New Mexico that is my homeland. I’m an avid crafter, I love sewing, crochet, making jewelry, baking, cosplay, and any fun creative activity with my sons. I love to read, nerd out, and take classes on a variety of subjects, indulging my obsession with color coded office supplies and pens while keeping my mind sharp and curious. I look forward to continuing my passion for learning, and am always open to what is next.
